CashmanKatz To Enhance Communications Offerings with Covergyx Media Partnership

Newly formed practice to specialize in Crisis and Corporate Social Responsibility

 – CashmanKatz, a leading full-service integrated marketing communications firm, is today announcing its partnership with Covergyx Media, led by industry leader Richard Frisch.

This strategic partnership will take the strengths of CashmanKatz’ public relations team and Covergyx Media’s deep experience to create a practice that focuses on reputation and crisis management, as well as an added focus on corporate social responsibility to benefit the Agencies’ client base.

The newly formed practice will become both a part of CashmanKatz’ public relations arm, as well as with its sister public affairs agency, Octagon Strategy Group. Mr. Frisch and team will spearhead strategic communications and campaigns, reputation management, crisis and rapid response communications, corporate social responsibility and cause marketing as well as digital media relations and social communications. Other join services will include public affairs communications, issues management, policy analysis, stakeholder engagement and campaigns for issues advocacy, reputation and branding. Mr. Frisch began his media career at CBS News, covering national politics. He then joined Reuters, where he launched the broadcast television division, and became president of the venture. Frisch created his own firm, CTV, a strategic communications and outreach consulting organization. He sold CTV to Medialink, and became president of the new organization, Medialink Strategic Communications. In 2007, he founded Forum Strategic Communications, and in 2015, created Covergyx Media, and is a board member of the George Washington University School of Media and Public Affairs.
