Newly formed practice to specialize in Crisis and Corporate Social Responsibility

GLASTONBURY, CONN. AND NEW YORK, NY
 – CashmanKatz, a leading full-service integrated marketing communications firm, is today announcing its partnership with Covergyx Media, led by industry leader Richard Frisch.

This strategic partnership will take the strengths of CashmanKatz’ public relations team and Covergyx Media’s deep experience to create a practice that focuses on reputation and crisis management, as well as an added focus on corporate social responsibility to benefit the Agencies’ client base.

“Covergyx Media’s Principal Richard Frisch is a 25-year strategic communications expert specializing in creating game-changing communications vehicles in the areas of corporate, crisis and regulatory issues management,” said Tony Cashman, President and CEO of CashmanKatz. “He is known for helping some of the world’s largest companies, foundations, non-profits and NGOs navigate the ever-changing landscape of corporate reputation communications. He is also well-known to CashmanKatz, having collaborated on several brands and projects over the years. We are thrilled to further formalize our relationship and have his years of reputation and crisis expertise to help enhance our offerings and to guide our clients.”

In today’s landscape, businesses are facing growing needs to address hot-button issues, real-time responsiveness as well as long-term strategic planning. With decades of C-Suite consultation and corporate reputation and crisis management experience, Richard Frisch and Covergyx Media will further enhance CashmanKatz’ offerings and services to its clients.

“CashmanKatz is a preeminent New England Agency with a great reputation providing multi-faceted integrated communications for its clients. Joining forces creates the perfect opportunity to pair years of expertise into a full-service agency, and I look forward to helping their clients adapt to the ever-changing communications landscape,” said Covergyx Media’s Richard Frisch.

The newly formed practice will become both a part of CashmanKatz’ public relations arm, as well as with its sister public affairs agency, Octagon Strategy Group. He sold CTV to Medialink, and became president of the new organization, Medialink Strategic Communications.
