CashmanKatz Marks Important Milestone:
Celebrates 30 Years

Leading Connecticut Marketing Communications Agency Sees Consistent Growth and Revenue Increase Year to Year

GLASTONBURY, CONN. – CashmanKatz (CK), one of Connecticut’s leading integrated digital and marketing communications firms, is celebrating 30 years of delivering impactful and meaningful storytelling for people, brands, industries and communities. As a regional independent, full-service agency, CK has continued to thrive through three decades of extraordinary and often paradigm-changing evolutions in the marketing industry and media landscape.

CK has offered its clients a robust array of services to meet their marketing needs, adapting to the ever-evolving needs of consumers. Led by its original founding CEO, Tony Cashman, the agency has consistently delivered compelling and unexpected ideas by leveraging a diverse team of leaders, brand strategists, digital experts, industry creative specialists, and talented designers and producers.

The industry has seen significant change – from the move from film to video to the explosion of digital media, social media, influencer content, digital printing, and most recently, artificial intelligence.

“A key to our success has been our ability to adapt, pivot and grow to accommodate the changes in the marketplace and how people consume information,” said Tony Cashman, President and CEO. “We pride ourselves on smart growth and changing with the times. When we first opened our doors, we started with just media planning and buying as a service. Shortly after, we added the creative and public relations departments. And over the years, we have continued to add all of our other services, including branding, strategy, research and video production. In the last 10 years, as we’ve seen an acceleration in digital, social media, analytics and SEO, we have expanded those departments and we’ve made a significant investment in technology and added personnel.”

CK is headquartered in a 15,000-square-foot facility in Glastonbury that includes a focus group facility for research and an in-house production department that includes a studio, two editing suites and a robust array of cameras and equipment. The company has increased its revenue by an estimated 25% annually over the last three years.

Current agency principals are President and CEO Tony Cashman, Partner and SVP Creative Director Eric Cavoli, and Partner and SVP of Client Service Amanda Mueller.

“To do the unexpected, we’ve built the unexpected. Creativity and coming up with an idea have been core to every ad agency since the beginning of time. Creating unexpected ideas that you can’t get anywhere else is still our secret to success and growth,” said Eric Cavoli, Partner and SVP Creative Director. Cavoli has been with the firm since 2010.

Founded by Tony Cashman and Ed Katz, CashmanKatz, formerly known as Cashman + Katz Integrated Communications, started in a small apartment in Manchester as a media buying agency, has grown to a full-service agency, but remains within a boutique body with a team of 25. The firm prides itself on helping people succeed, not just brands.

“We believe that building relationships with our clients and connecting with their target audiences is so important, and we value the people we have encountered in our 30-year journey,” said Amanda Mueller, Partner and SVP of Client Services, who has been with CK for 20 years. “We are a true partner for our clients; they are going through these changes too, which can be overwhelming. They need more than a service provider, they need confidantes and trusted friends.”

Some of CK’s clients through the years have included: CT Department of Transportation, CT Lottery, BIC, Mylanta, Yankee Candle, Foxwoods Resort & Casino, AVANGRID, Eastern Connecticut Health Network, CT Children’s Medical Center, Yale School of Public Health, ASSA ABLOY, CT Department of Children & Families, Orthopedic Associates of Hartford, Iron Mountain, to name just a few.

“It has been a remarkable journey with a truly amazing team. I am honored and blessed to be working alongside such an intelligent, dedicated and hardworking team of professionals. Our passion for the work, and putting the client first, comes through in everything that we do and I can’t wait to see what the future brings,” added Cashman. “All of our employees and clients, past and present, have gotten us to where we are today. We thank them for being a part of our story.”
